Emergency Electrical Callouts
£200 Call Out Fee
This covers the first two hours of labour.
20 Mile Radius
The standard call out fee is limited to a 20 mile radius from IP14 4FG. Additional mileage thereafter is £5 per mile.
Restore Power
The priority on an emergency call out is the safe restoration of power and functionality where possible & the identification of the fault.
Follow Up Visit
If a follow up visit is required to rectify the fault for a permanent solution rather than a temporary fix this is charged at the standard rate.

Transparent Pricing
I am never the cheapest quote, but my work reflects this. All my work is covered by my Public Liability Insurance (£1 Million) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (£500,000). For the majority of works I quote a set fee rather than by the hour. For faults I charge a call out fee and then by the hour.
Routine Works:
- First Hour Of Labour- £120.
- Hourly Rate – £60
- Day Rate – £450
Emergency Works:
- First Two Hours Of Labour – £200 (Emergency Call-Out)
- Emergency Hourly Rate -£80
- Mileage Rate – £5 per mile (If over 20 miles from IP14 4FG)
Current Qualifications
I can undertake almost any domestic or commercial electrical works. If I am not qualified or competent to carry out any work requested, I will decline the work and explain why. I currently hold the following qualifications (EAL/LCL):
- Level 3 Award in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings.
- Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (2022 Amendment).
- Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT).
- Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
- Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations.
- Level 2 Award in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification.
- LCL Domestic Electrical Installer
Currently Upskilling
I deliver only the highest quality of work by continually upskilling rather than just meeting minimum legal competencies. I am currently studying the following additional qualifications:
- Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installation in Dwellings (Qualified Supervisor Qualification)
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for the Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points
- Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations
